1)    water enters the sensor

Water enters the sensor probe, causing the sensor unit to fail (the sensor unit is ceramic, which will break when exposed to water under high temperature working conditions, causing failure). Water enters the electronic control unit, causing the wire circuit to short-circuit, and the electronic control unit to burn out, causing failure, electronic components burn out, causing failure.

2)    oil quality

Diesel is more likely to damage parts than gasoline. Incomplete combustion of diesel causes carbon deposits and poisoning of the sensor probe, leading to sensor probe failure and damage to the sensor.

3) Overload current

When the electronic control unit circuit is subjected to excessive current and voltage, it is easy to damage the components, resulting in damage to the NOx sensor.

There are many reasons for damaging the NOx sensor, which need to be analyzed one by one.
